Italian herb mix

Herb mixes can bring your cooking to an entirely new level of deliciousness. This is if a mix is properly balanced, then a small quantity of it can make a whole lot of difference and turn a boring dish into a pretty spectacular one. The mix we are proposing here, is the one that as Italians we love the most. If you sprinkle a bit of this onto your food during the cooking process, the bouquet of aromas that will develop will be just unbelievable. Plus, store-bought herb mixes are pretty expensive, and making them at home is very, very cheap!

Ingredients[ ounces / grams ]
4gdried oregano
2gdried basil
2gdried parsley
1gdried thyme
1gdried sage
0.3gcrushed dried bay leaves (¼ tsp)
1ggarlic or onion granules
2 tbspdried oregano
1 tbspdried basil
1 tbspdried parsley
1 tspdried thyme
1 tspdried sage
¼ tspcrushed dried bay leaves
¼ tspgarlic or onion granules
Instructions
  1. Place all the ingredients into a bowl and gently stir them with a spoon to properly combine them.

Makes: 11g - 0.4oz - 5 tbsp
Preparation Time: 3m
Storage Times: Keeps for about 1 year in an airtight container.
